Officer ResponsibilitesPresident – Serves as the club CEO, responsible for general supervision and operation of the club. Presides at club meetings and officer meetings, and directs the club in a way which meets the educational growth and leadership needs of members. In cooperation with the club officers sets club goals and represents the club. VP Education – Plans club meetings. Assists members in their education and training. Makes sure all members understand the importance of excellent evaluations and know how to evaluate. Arranges for educational programs. Administers speech contests. VP Public Relations – Develops, implements club PR program, promotes positive image of Toastmasters. VP Membership –Sets club membership goals, assists with new member’s applications, prepares, and delivers welcome packets to prospective members. Orients new members to the Toastmasters program. Makes sure each new member is assigned a mentor. Secretary – Maintains club records and correspondence. Keeps club bylaws and official documents. Reads meeting notes and minutes. Submits semi-annual officer list to Toastmasters International. Treasurer – Manages and reports on club funds, manages checking account, accepts membership fees. Submits semi-annual membership report to Toastmasters International. Sergeant at Arms - Makes physical arrangements for club meetings, specially when they are not at the regular location. Arranges for food service at meal meetings. Controls club property and aranges for material replacement. Supports Sergeant at Arms Assistant to open club meetings, preparation of the room and welcoming guests. Webmaster- Responsible for maintaining the club's web site and e-mail addresses.
